Hey Futaba, I got some kinda big-ish news. Bad news,
really. Not bad enough to panic right now, but I told Yusuke and I've gotta tell you too.

Akechi is claiming that Adachi, that adult with the dog from the cafe, is a murderer from Inaba. I'm inclined to believe him, if only because he has no real reason to lie about such a thing. What do you think?

[Honestly, this should surprise her more considering Adachi was someone Yusuke knew and apparently trusted. At the very least he was among people the artist cared about considering he had received a warning about Akechi.

She wasn't quite sure what to think.]

Are we sure Akechi is telling the truth? Like you said, he doesn't have a real reason to lie...but he could be.

No, we can't be sure he's telling the truth, which is why our plan now is to find out if he is, but Yusuke is going to be leading the operation this time rather than me, so we're going to have to be on standby until further notice.

I imagine it won't take too long. He's understandably fired up.

Fox is leading. That...will be interesting. I just hope he can keep a level head.

...I bet we'll be hearing his plan soon enough. It's kind of...personal for him.

He's leading because he's been here the longest,
knows the most people... has the most at stake. But he knows we're here to back him up.

I think he's learned from the incident at the cafe. We just have to have faith in him.

I get why he's leading. That doesn't mean I can't worry. It's...normal, right? To worry about people important to you.

...It sounds like he's waiting for one of his friends here...They were at the cafe. We'll just have to see where this leads.

It's SUPER normal! Just worry enough to stay on your toes. It's just as important to worry as it is to have faith in each other.

By the way, I got Akechi to tell me where he lives. Maurtia Falls, assigned housing unit 11. Thought you should know, just in case anything happens.

I know. I'll worry just enough--and keep my monitoring to a minimum. Promise.

[She just frets over her friends okay? She's still kind of new to the whole "respect space, but it's okay to worry" thing.]

...He actually told you? I'll keep that in mind--hopefully, we won't have to check in too much.

[It's not like Akira blamed her. Especially with Yusuke. He'd come very far, but he was still socially awkward and tended to be ruled by his emotions.]

Yeah. Honestly, I was surprised too.

[He was still going back and forth on whether he should tell Futaba that he was meeting Akechi. He didn't want to tell Yusuke, because he was very busy, but Futaba? He debated it heavily for a moment. He wasn't as worried about the meeting itself as he was about telling his friends.]

I think it's all going to work out.

[He'll apologize later, but he thinks 'Sorry, Futaba' VERY hard when he leaves his message at that.]

[ This is probably something that needs to be addressed with everyone. Yusuke recognizes that, but he is in a state, and the others know why, but Futaba is the only one of them who has really been in a close enough place to understand. Today's new problem is unrelated to the Constellation, he thinks, he hopes, but he just...can't be crowded. ]

Have you been watching the news, Futaba? Did you see that parking lot that was torn to shreds?

[She may be watching that footage on a loop. Kidding. She definitely is.

Most anyone could be convinced it's Yusuke, but there's just enough there for someone that has fought by his side for the better half of a year--someone that tracked every movement of her team--to notice as being significantly off.]

Saw the news. It doesn't really fit with the timeline of your movements...Speaking of, they do a good job imitating you at the start, but they really needed more research. They're all over the place.

[ Well...not anyone. It's not like he pulls it out as a party trick. The ice blocks are kind of a giveaway though, at leaat to Futaba.]

The person who took the video says it was my face under the mask. He says I showed him, explained Goemon, and then tried to kill him. He means to expose me if I cannot prove my innocence.

[And a hefty one at that. If this imposter was good enough to look like Yusuke...this was going to get complicated.]

How much do I need to convince this guy? Or do you want me to do more than prove your innocence?

Whoever it is, they are copying my Persona, as well, and further, explained it to him as an aspect of my spirit. It shouldn't be possible.

He needs strong convincing. He is unstable and actively seeks excuses to be angry with me. But I do not understand what you mean by MORE than that?

Unless they have abilities like your cards...But they would have had to see you for that to work, right? I really don't like this...

I can get access to CCTV...probably a few other things too. Outside of convincing this guy this fake isn't the real deal, we could try tracking him down too. Who knows what else he might do in your name otherwise...

We need to stop Brendan AND the impersonator. Either of them could blow my cover, as Fox OR Prometheus, on a whim.

Right. Hacking CCTVs and traffic cams. Anything I can get my coding on.

This Brendan...has he given you a deadline?

No, he has not. Probably until he sobers up enough to find a police station.

Okay that...definitely doesn't help. I don't even know what would convince him at this point if he's that determined.

Feel free to talk with him. He has more evidence, apparently, than he's given up so far. He's holding it over my head.
